1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Brandon Bedford, doing business as Selah ("we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use Selah (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Account data

When you create an account, we collect your name and email address via Supabase Authentication.

Profile data

To generate rate quotes, we collect the information you provide in your creator profile: follower counts by platform, audience region and niche, base rates per deliverable type, preferred currency, global rate multiplier, and usage rights preferences. This data is stored in your account and used solely to provide the Service.

Usage data

We collect records of your activity within the Service, including AI quote requests, deal history, and deliverable configurations. This is used to power your dashboard and enforce plan limits.

Brand messages

When you paste a brand message into Selah for pricing analysis, that text is sent to Anthropic's API for AI processing. We do not store the raw message text beyond the duration of that request. See Section 4 for more on Anthropic.

Analytics data

We use Google Analytics to collect information about how visitors use the marketing site, including pages visited, session duration, and general location data. Google Analytics may use cookies. You can opt out using Google's browser add-on.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to: provide and maintain the Service; generate AI-powered pricing quotes based on your profile; enforce plan limits and process subscription management; communicate with you about your account or the Service; and improve the Service over time based on aggregate usage patterns. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Third-Party Services

Supabase

We use Supabase for database storage and authentication. Your account data and profile information are stored on Supabase infrastructure. Supabase's privacy policy applies to their handling of this data.

Anthropic

Brand messages you submit for pricing analysis are processed by Anthropic's Claude API. Anthropic may use submitted data in accordance with their API usage policies. We recommend not including sensitive personal or financial information in brand messages beyond what is necessary for rate estimation.

Creem

Paid subscriptions are processed by Creem, who acts as the Merchant of Record. Selah does not store or have access to your payment card details — all payment data is handled directly by Creem and is subject to their privacy policy and security standards.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how people use our marketing site. Google Analytics collects data such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. This data is processed by Google in accordance with Google's privacy policy.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and profile data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law. Deal history and quote records are deleted along with your account.

6. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including Supabase Row Level Security to ensure users can only access their own data. No method of data transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.

8. International Data Transfers

Selah is operated from Seoul, South Korea, but our infrastructure providers (Supabase and Anthropic) process data primarily in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States and to its processing there in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

9. Children's Privacy

Selah is intended for users 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it promptly. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, please contact us at [email protected].

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice within the Service. The effective date at the top of this page will always reflect when the policy was last updated.
